A symbiotic relationship that looks like a plate of spaghetti.

I'm interested in a visual diagram of this, would it allow for a second set of jaws to be developed?

It's not about boiling.
I've watched fish die off in bays during heat waves over the summer just because the water they were in just got too hot and there was nowhere to go.
None of that was boiling.

Looking it up it sounds like it could be an oxygen thing.

I'm curious if this large swath of black objects warming air enough to cause significant thermal updrafts would also be warming the water they are surrounded by to a point of replicating a heat wave.
So, higher temperature, lower oxygen.

I use chrome too.
I dunno, maybe it's just my phone.

Correct, they were suggesting induced migration of the Volleypom by other species.

If someone wants to do that, that would be good for the environment honestly.

I like the species name on this.

Regarding the expanding tab,
I never see anything pop up when I click it, but when I quote it there looks to be stuff there.
Is this a forum issue?

Isn't a two bar linkage mechanism already what a femur and tibia act like?
Or are they normally one bar mechanisms acting in unison.
Maybe I misunderstand.

"convey rich emotional overtones that would be instinctively, "

This reads like a word is missing, maybe the word "understood".

"While it will still run on its hoofs"

I've seen the word hoofs and hooves, both of which are proper plurals before anyone else mentions it.

The vascular tubing and it's development, the root structure, and water being drawn up via evaporation, should all be found in descendents of the orange spore stalk.

The growth method of the leaf should be found in descendents of the Sunstalk, however, those would have microphyll as opposed to the full fledged leaves described in the Volleypom. They could have a spongy mesophyll, but not much going on...

The actual leaves described in this would be for descendents of the obsiditree, as that one has the actual support structures, and in it's description gives these structures gas exchange purposes.
I asked hydro about his opinion on this clarification and he was cool with it.

The way the microspores develop I think would be how anything descended from the orange spore sprout creates spores, unless otherwise stated. Though skipping the meiosis in cases of asexual reproduction.

The boreal pop sprout elaborates on descendants of the orange spore sprout that are not also part of the stalk lineage.

Bark, Megaspores, various leaf bits like trichomes rain bulbs and plastic coating, leaf phenotype shifts, these are unique.

"or as a way to debone plents"

This falls into the category of unusual fermentation, which is cool.

You could also I just let the mouth dry out, surface layer become dead, then shed when back to being active.

"drop into the water and feed some small aquatic prey"

There may be a word missing here.

Sounds like that one replaces the ancestor because it's offspring do better in it's given environment.

In it's description it says the adults are basically the same, so whatever you wanna make
If the significant part is the adult,
Then out would still work.

QUOTE (CosmoRomanticist @ Nov 12 2021, 10:43 AM)
Seriously, can we still please call SOME things by their type names (or whatever the word is?). Does everything have to be.... different like this from its ancestor in terms of name?

I don't think I understand.

Unless there's something wrong with the biome

Probably just some joke relative

"Shorg species on the island have seen a dramatic drop"

I wanna make shorgs

I'm imagining the buffalo birds of a large plent picking the larvae out of breathing holes in it's skin, great opportunity for niche predation.

I'm not a grammatical whiz so I'm not sure.

The shrink was past 4x I thought

I'm still pondering if the genus should be different, I think I agree with your choice of it being the same.

The tongue is the biggest change other than behavior, and that isn't actually very drastic.
