Russ1 update: found him

Also found BioCat. Huggkruka has also been contacted though he has not visited the site or discord yet, and Clayren is possibly incoming.

There's also a reasonable chance Clarke, Irinya, HuckBuck, and Bonosaber are gonna be on the "found" list, but I haven't seen much online activity from them so there's no guarantee.

So in the search for Clayren, some bizarre developments occurred.

So, I have definitely found Clayren and am waiting for him to respond to my messages. Since he's taking a while to do so, however, I decided to snoop around some more. I don't know how I didn't get some of these results in past searches...

- Clayren was one of the first Let's Players ever!?!?!?? (I identified and confirmed his Something Awful account, where he posted let's plays so long ago that they're archived in early "Let's Play masterposts" from when there were so few Let's Plays that this was even remotely possible)
- During one of my googling sessions the personal twitter of minecraft youtuber Dream came up. I know Clayren and Dream aren't the same person--Dream was like, 8 years old when Clayren joined Sagan 4--but they have just enough in common that it's kinda uncanny.

I don't know what to do with these things.

Anyway yeah Clayren is back. I'm also currently examining a possible lead on Irinya.

EDIT: Irinya lead was a dead end, it wasn't them.

Irinya has been located. Probably one of the more difficult finds lol but it paid off

Also found a lead on Bonosaber, but I wouldn't hold my breath; another waiting game

Update: Found a lot of people. Decided to try every single email address I hadn't contacted yet and got numerous replies immediately. Story's still developing and idk how many people are about to return. Kenotai now holds the record for fastest reply, at 10 minutes flat.

Also got confirmation from Killian Ng (credited as Vivus on Homestuck) that they are not the same Vivus from Sagan 4, despite using the same screen name around the same time.

I somehow managed to contact both Clarke and Bonosaber on the same day. If they both respond/rejoin at the same time, things are about to get interesting.
(Edit: for reference, in terms of how they approached making and designing species, they're like, extreme opposites)

The journey has been long and hard but I have finally made contact with Bonosaber and invited him back.

I think I found Building Blocks. Him being banned aside (contact info is needed for legal reasons anyway), if this is really him then I don't think I will ever be able to refer to him normally ever again, because of how many completely bonkers things he's done that no other Sagan 4 member has.

Update on above: Turns out I had followed a false lead and that was not Building Blocks. I know because Building Blocks contacted me on Discord out of nowhere.

Xenomoose has continued to prove to be a particularly difficult person to find, for frustrating reasons. If you google "Xenomoose" right now, you will find tons of results for someone who has been on the internet since the mid 2000's and likes kaijus and Alien and a bunch of other things of monster movie kind, which would look to be our guy. But it would appear that someone else with very similar interests came up with the same username around the same time independently, as even when pressed, this "Xenomoose" insists that they are not the same one as ours. There's no easy way to tell which Xenomoose is which, but the unrelated Xenomoose seems to account for all recent search results. Basically, it's like a more intense version of the Vivus situation.

I did recently discover an archived old Sagan 4 forum thread where our Xenomoose mentioned being Gorgatron9000 on Spore. But so far, this has not led me anywhere useful. Maybe I'll find something on the Sporum archives.
