Now this is a creative tree. I notice you mention that the shape of the leaves was to make it so only parts of them are bit off, but at 60 meters tall, what is effectively grazing on them to warrant that? Unless of course it's only useful in young specimens.

Young specimens still have to deal with predators, yeah. There's also wind resistance being a thing, I'll mention that.

Interesting...it seems to be very dark purple, rather than black.
Those sweat-leaves are creative, interesting, and pretty plausible.

Is the sweat just water, or is it some sort of repellent too?

I'm thinking just water. That could be a future idea though.

I chose to give it a slight blue tint because just using shades of grey looked less like black than dark blue did. Outside, the lighting is generally slightly bluish anyway.

So, does this violate the Island Migration rule?

QUOTE
Island Migration

Players cannot spread species to islands except for direct sea or air. However at the beginning of each week species will be "cross pollinated" at random either to or from island beaches. In addition
"Super Hurricane" disasters will spread species when they occur.

Is this rule even still in effect?

This falls under direct air. In beta's flyway system, the two would be connected by flyway as well. If not, I can just add the troposphere for spores only or something.

Meh, that sounds credible.
