"Ancestors rich" should be "ancestors' rich".
That's distinctive Nergali art: muted colors and shading, tentacles and grotesque-ness. It's a donut-eyed frown-bean. I imagine it discourages predators by frowning really hard at them and making it really awkward.

The expression on this species' face is priceless. It looks like its depressed over how ugly it looks. Nonetheless, It's good to see something appearing out of left field like this. I can imagine trying to evolve an aeroplanktonic descendant.

I've made the changes, and thanks for the comments. I hope the size is fine, and who knows, maybe people will diversify this.

Wasn't intended to, since we could always use more plankton, so I've clarified in the description.
