For a long time, most general pages have been sweeping, phylum- or class-level things. However, I imagine they probably weren't so sweeping when they were first made.

I've been making general pages that cover small subgroups, both living and extinct, that I feel are either historically notable (like roamers and mirageboks) or that really needed something specific to them (shrogs, which I had to get permission to add early to reduce the imminent risk of misinterpretation in the coming generations). How helpful have they been so far? Are there other small groups that also really need general pages?

I think their pretty cool!

It's hard to find the overview pages. Although they're sorted by TaxonomyTaxonomy category, the actual Taxonomy link on the front page of the wiki doesn't seem to link to them. There are also some pluralization errors on the overview page, like using "Worm" and "Bearhog" in the singular.

I think Kruggs and Cryoflora (tealflora?), Ukfauna (or specific offshoots, like Neuks' lineage) need overview pages. Cryoflora is a big group, so it might be better to limit it to particularly diverse offshoots. There's also Mason offshoots, such as Gildlings; the Gildling line is notable for still existing due to the Hikerflora genus group on Sagan 4.

General pages were meant originally to be pages people could go to for a general overview of commonly used terms on the project that didn't have their own pages, like Plents or Shrews. This has lead to them basically becoming taxonomy pages, since it is defining large groups of related family groups. We were also supposed to have general pages for things like the major continents and time eras, but those never materialized.

We should probably fold the taxonomy pages into these current general pages in one way or another, but how to go about that is probably something that needs to be decided on
