"The Steppe Lizalope’s" That should be "The Steppe Lizalope".
"wide variety of producers" is odd, in this context, because one can easily use "flora".

"lay their eggs, instead they" The comma here should be a period.

"much like their ancestors" Much like their ancestors', with a plural possessive.

" take a bit" A bit of what? I recommend using units of time, whether it's minutes or hours.

"mound although" I recommend adding a comma between those words.

Does this replace its ancestor? It seems like it would. If so, that should be specified in the description.

On an unrelated note...did you draw the dinosaurs in your avatar yourself? If so, that's very impressive.

Alright, made the needed grammar changes.

No I imagine it does not, as they are over double the size of this species and simply rely more on their bulk to avoid predators. I myself am not a fan of causing species to die out willy-nilly, as I am a fan of species diversity and as such will rarely ever replace a species in this project. If their ancestor gets outcompeted by them by the gen transition, then so be it. But I would rather not just replace them outright if this gets accepted as I have other plans for them.

as for the signature artwork, thank you for the comment but their actually not Dinosaurs! I can elaborate on them on the discord if your interested as their part of a 4-year-long project!

Oh....your not on the alpha discord....

Ah---those are Paleozoic/Mesozoic crocodile relatives, aren't they? If so, that's fascinating. They get so little attention.

Actually their from a personal project of mine thats 4 years old! Their called Retrosaurs! A lineage of Pseudosuchians that split off early on and ruled over the mesozoic! The group has several hundred families and would likely take months to fully explain everything though..

I'd rather not, anyways this is moving away from the organism at hand so can we please go back to it?

Well, I don't see any other problems. Does anyone else have comments to make?

I like the design of this species. If I might make a suggestion, but perhaps some rotting vegetation should be included in the nest mounds, in order to provide some warmth for the developing eggs.

Looks good to me, though maybe just vegetation instead of rotting vegetation, since it will rot regardless, and it would be easier for them to find in the first place.
