I've added a note about diagonal morphs in wetlands

"everpinks" It took me a while to realize that was based on "evergreens"

Can you add a little more soil and bark detail? They look like mere gradients.

I lifted the term from the pine pambu! I like doing little nods to classic species and lineages like that.

The background is abstract. It's unclear what the bark texture would be for this lineage.

I like these unique Flora, more rigid body design and all that.

Kinda makes me think of poplars for whatever reason.

Because of the woody trunk I assume the trunk widens via some layer comparable to a cambium layer, but what determines the height before it branches, does it do shedding?

how does it grow the branches, and how does it respond to broken branches? Is it scarring and a bud of some kind?

Given they fork afterward but not often, it sounds like ... Maybe but with really heavy and early suppressive hormones.

another option, since it is an orbion, is to have the upward growth of the trunk entirely distinct and separate from the development and elongation of the branches. Providing a point of trunk growth shortly below the base of the branches, and branch lengthening at the tips of the branches, could work. The woodiness however would not be continual in that design.

Unless, a very awkard looking internal woody structure were created, I'm having trouble seeing how the wood in the branches could smoothly establish themselves alongside the trunk though..

Can it be like, elaborated on in the description that the prongs have flexible only partially lignified wood, until the trunk reaches mature height.

Maybe also how the trunk grows relative to the branches.

Orbion trees are weird.

Added "During development, they are initially skinny and only their trunks have heartwood until they reach their full trunk-level height, at which point the interior of the prongs lignify for support as they grow longer and thicker"
