Ooh this little guy!
Well not little, but shorter than me.
I'm glad the surgeonuk wasn't forgotten.

The e and o in surgeonuk might have gotten flipped in your autocorrect, reading the description it ended up that way.

"the Surgoenuk is there to attend to the doctors"

"the Surgoenuk has split off from its ancestor"

"Surgoenuks mate on the land"

Since the Doctor Pickle is part of 166, how does the submission process work?

It can still eat it.

You can add same gen food sources, it's preferred the food gets submitted before the eater, though.

Which doctor pickle has been so it's all good.

Good find, fixed & updated the habitat to reflect that of its main food source (Do mudflats count as wetlands? They aren't listed in the flavor/type lists yet).

Mudflats are the "riparian" for the wetlands, so they're under riparian.

Opinion: Pending, only due to needing "passive" or "active" for respiration assuming the gills don't pump inside the water tank.
I actually think it should be approved since I haven't seen any elaboration beyond "gills in tank" for any of them, but I put pending for the same thing on another submission so. There ya go.

But also, Doctor Pickle has yet to be approved so, technically this can't yet.

Uktanks I believe were designed to actually have active respiration? @MNIDJM

Though only shailnitors have proper lungs going on.

Make sense, tidal lungs are active and they're basically air tanks.

Fixed. It does make sense to me that there should be at least some heart system pumping blood through the gills, which should count as active. A pet theory of mine is that the vestigial remains of the poison glands who's network reached the spikes (that evolved into the plates that became the spiral shell that became the water tank) could be the basis for the respiratory and maybe even the circulatory systems...

But that's just in terms of what makes sense to me, I would give a tentacle and a shell ear to reach some sort of detailed consensus about the internals between all the team members who brought uktanks to life.
