Does anyone have any comments before I give this a review?

No issues.
The watercolor design is pleasant.
It’s nice to see visibly different ecotypes within the same flora species. It grants visual variety and acknowledges local conditions affecting appearances without resorting to genus groups everywhere.

Template:
The template is very spaced-out. Please remove spacing before and after paragraphs.
While it’s useful to specify the means of passive respiration, it is more standard to capitalize most words about the specific methods in the template.
Since it’s a flora, it can be listed as “ectotherm”. Heliothermy seems applicable only to basking ectotherms. This is a flora that’s rooted in place, though, so it can’t really bask any more than a normal plant could.

Description:
“Leafed branches. Some at higher elevation”. “Some at higher elevation” looks like a sentence fragment. The easiest solution is “some Narrow Volleypoms at higher elevations barely exceed 3 meters in height.” It does feel odd to use “3” and not “three” for such a small number, though.

“Their ancestor” would read better as “their ancestor’s” (as in, “their ancestor’s leaves”).
“Sporangia” should be uncapitalized, as should the other reproductive terms.

I may remove heliothermy but it seems to be a thing among melanophytes.
