This is honestly really hardcore and maybe even your best species so far.

This is something that I could see being made into an action figure or some tiny figurine!

The Smirking Soriparasite has more than two habitat types: It has temperate, tropical, and mountain habitat types. Given there is no wildcard protocol under the rules for the Alpha timeline, you'll have to reduce its habitat range.
"Upperjaw" should be two words.
" Smirking Soriparasite to twist their neck" That doesn't make grammatical sense. I recommend "its neck".
", their anesthetic compounds in its saliva" That's pronoun confusion.
"who’s" should be "whose".
"smirking soriparasites may also come" The capitalization is inconsistent here.
I like the patterning and its shrink-wrapped, dinosaur-like look.

Oh, I thought I checked to make sure I did not pick anything outside of Rainforests, Woodlands, and Scrublands. Its ancestor also inhabited these kinds of habitats.

I can fix the grammatical errors.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Coolsteph alright, made the grammatical edits!

It’s not the Flavors that are the problem, it the Types. You have Tropical, Temperate, and Montane types, but you can only pick two.

Oh okay, which types do the respective biomes I picked fit into? I want the species to be widespread so I want to pick the two types that allow it to be as widespread as it can be.

Wildcard actually does exist in Alpha, but I imagine this isn't meant to be wildcard anyway

Well here are what you have so far:

QUOTE (MNIDJM @ Mar 24 2020, 08:35 AM)
Biome Rules
--Types--
Temperate
Temperate Coast, Temperate Beach, Marsh, Temperate Woodland, Chaparral, Plains, Desert, Temperate River, Temperate Lake, Temperate Riparian

Tropical
Tropical Coast, Tropical Beach, Swamp, Tropical Rainforest, Tropical Woodland, Scrub, Savanna, Dunes, Salt Flats, Tropical River, Tropical Lake, Tropical Riparian

Mountain
Alpine, Boreal, Rocky, High Grasslands, High Desert, Volcanic, Mountain River, Mountain Lake, Moor, Mountain Riparian, Peak

Looks like I’ll need to get rid of the boreal section, which the locks away certain forests and scrublands

Maybe get rid of temperate?

Is it possible for it to "redevelop" teeth on its lower jaw?

Yes, in real life some frogs that only had teeth on one jaw regained them on the other. I actually covered this in my post about atavism; if a feature is lost in one part of the body but intact in another, atavism becomes considerably easier. This is also seen with functional digits and claws on the forelimbs of some birds.

I ended up getting rid of the Mountain Biome Type, the range did shrink along with its prey and host species lists, but its still fairly large.
