Three guesses for Colddigger's favorite organism.

Thee are no organisms by the name of "Twin-Tail". Did you mean Chasing Twintail or perhaps Twinpaw Twintail? (Although the latter would be proportionately large.)

How would the wings serve as decoys? They don't look like other parts of the body.

"low growing flora," Low-growing.

I'll go over the rest later.

Maybe decoy is the wrong term?

It's meant to be something a predator in pursuit would go for, and then instead get a mouth full of pine needle stuff instead and nothing more.

Like grabbing a skink tail or chicken feathers.

"Expendable structures" or "distractors" could work, although I don't know if that's the correct scientific term.

There is the Twin-Tail Orbibom. Since this is omnivorous, perhaps they were referring to that?

You should probably remove that, the Shaggy Volleypom would have evolved after the Squirrelly Dufftrout, so it would not make sense for it to be included within their base diet if it didn't exist yet by the time it evolved.
