How delightful. I myself was considering sprucing up some sketches of Gumjorn relatives from 2014.
Hahaha. Shrog Pumpkin. It's not what it was made for, but I was supposed that's what it has become.
Would the muted shade of brown really hide it if it still has a lot of conspicuous green lenses?

Regarding the shell color change: I suppose it's better than nothing. Maybe it makes sense if you consider a partially buried recently detached stembud, for example, which wouldn't be as tall and obvious. I should probably check if there's any other green flora here (other than the original gumjorn).

Anyone else have something to say about this? (it's been a couple of days so i'm commenting to bump this post back to the top)

Well I hardly know anything about gumjorns or flora in general, so I don't have that much to say about it. Except that its scientific name is missing.

There, fixed. Although... tell me if it might need a new genus. I don't think so but maybe someone else will.

Looks good

One minor error:
"as extensive of roots":
You probably meant: "as extensive a root system".

@Coolsteph The error has been fixed.

Although the Driftwood Islands habitat part is difficult to interpret, it otherwise looks fit for approval. (I went through the checklist, but lost the report.) There is one problem with the shape of the shell, though. It seems largely flat, like a flatter kind of chocolate-chip cookie. Improving the lighting around the windows and improving the shading should clarify the shape of the shell.
