How does this species affect the Crystank Crystalworm? They ate the spores of their ancestor, so does the Croriss spread it into other biomes as well?

Well it doesn't really release spores in a way that the Crystank Crystalworm could get at them. I do have a possible idea for a Crystank Crystalworm descendant but right now I don't think this should spread the Crystank Crystalworm.

Sexual reproduction is new for this lineage in general, all three that do it this generation have evolved it more or less independently. I removed the reference to the spores being male. It was something of a short hand because they don't have proper gametes, they sort of weasel around proper sexual reproduction to achieve genetic recombination.
